 After the kind of hard work that the Akshay Kumar puts in his work, nobody can deny him a much-deserved breather. Not even he himself. At the peak of his career, the actor has two films release this year, namely Jolly LLB 2 and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, both rattling the box office registers the way a typical Akshay Kumar starrer would. All in all, it’s been a good year for the superstar, and now he is off to his traditional year ender break, after which he will return to kick start the promotions of his upcoming film Padman. And Akshay Kumar not just changes his look from film to film, but does so even for a vacation, as he has shaved his head clean!
The actor has recently wrapped up the shooting of Gold and sporting his new skinhead look. The actor is now in Cape Town, South Africa to cap the Christmas and New Year holidays with his family. Speaking about the same with Hindustan Times, Akshay said, “I’ve wrapped up the shoot of three of my films this year — Padman, 2.0, and Gold. Now I’m taking a much-needed break for one month to spend the festivities with my kids. I’ll be away in Cape Town (South Africa) for a few weeks. And then I’ll get on with the promotion of Padman, which releases on January 26.”

Akshay Kumar’s Padman is a biopic of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who created the first low-cost sanitary napkins for women in India. Padman also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles. The film directed by R Balki and produced by Mrs Funnybones Productions is slated for a release on January 26, 2018.
