While the film has already made a collection of Rs 179.70 crore, the question is will it keep earning this well in the days to come. The Rohit Shetty film, that is entertaining audience with a huge star cast which includes Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu and Neil Nitin Mukesh, surpassed Rs 100-crore mark in just a week’s time.
As per collection trends, the film is expected to make a business of Rs 3 to 4 crores on Thursday too. Trade guru Taran Adarsh had shared the latest collection of the film which was, “#GolmaalAgain [Week 2] Fri 7.25 cr, Sat 10.61 cr, Sun 13.58 cr, Mon 4.33 cr, Tue 4.02 cr, Wed 3.78 cr. Total: ₹ 179.70 cr. India biz.”
In a brief chat with indianexpress.com, when Golmaal Again actor Parineeti was asked about Golmaal Again’s fantastic opening, especially when many films didn’t do well this year and what does this kind of success feel like, she said, “It means a lot to me! I honestly don’t know what to say, I am talking to so many people and they’ve told me how the film broke a lot of records in the first four days of its release. I always used to hear and dream of these things, but I can’t believe that it has happened to my own film. It is dreamy to even believe that I am the heroine of a film that did so well at the box office, especially in a year where so many films have not done too well. Golmaal Again released and it kind of injected life back into the industry, I am happy that I am the heroine of the film.”
She had also shared, “Working with the whole team was a blast, it was like being on a paid holiday!”
It seems that audience too are enjoying this fun work and thus Golmaal Again is enjoying a good run at the box office.
