Aval trailer Siddharth-Andrea Jeremiah’s horror film will give you the chills
Directed by Milind Rau, the film stars Siddharth, Andrea and Atul Kulkarni. Produced by Siddharth’s Etaki cinemas and Viacom, Aval is likely to hit the screens on November 3. The film will also release in Hindi as The House Next Door and Gruham in Telugu.
The trailer of actor Siddharth’s upcoming horror film Aval was unveiled on Monday. The trailer promises a bold and uncompromising horror-thriller that we all have been waiting for a long time.
Horror-comedy is the latest fad in the South Indian film industry. In fact, it has been the favourite of the south filmmakers for the last few years now as the films from this genre mostly become successful at the box office. However, a full-length, terror-inducing horror thriller was long overdue. And Aval promises to fill that void.
“Milind and I have known each other for around 16-17 years as we both joined Mani Rathnam as an Assistant Director on the same day. Both being huge fans of horror, we wanted to make a horror movie that scares everyone out of their senses. Aval is a script that was written over four and a half years,” said Sidharth.
The film also features seasoned actor Atul Kulkarni in a key role, who interestingly worked with Siddharth 12 years ago in the iconic Rang De Basanti. “My career started in Chennai, with Kamal sir in Hey Ram. I always have a special corner for Tamil cinema as it brought me into films. This movie would set a benchmark for horror films in Indian cinema,” said Atul.
