We’ve rarely seen Alia Bhatt ape any other diva when it comes to style. And yet, here we are today, staring at her pictures from the last two days, digesting the fact that she has drawn inspiration (or outright taken off the rack) in terms of fashion. In the past two days, Alia has taken looks donned by two striking divas, for her events! For YouTube Fan Fest, the actress wore a lovely Lavish Alice ensemble with silver Steve Madden pumps. Keeping her makeup extremely minimal, Alia tied her hair up in a bun. The diva looked gorgeous but instantly reminded us of someone. During promotions for Raees in Dubai, Mahira Khan wore an exact same outfit. The Pakistani hottie wore the same ensemble for Raees but styled it differently with strappy heels and hair let down. They both wore their looks really well.
Soon the next day, at HT Style Awards, held in Delhi, the actress once again aped a look, but this time of Hollywood actress Hailey Steinfeld. For the style awards, Alia kept it stylish as she donned a Reem Acra outfit taken out of the spring 2017 collection. Once again, she kept the makeup extremely minimal and tied her hair. Hailey chose to go for a bolder look as she wore dark lips with the outfit. She too, had her hair tied with a sleek side partition. Steinfeld completed the look with a pair of strappy heels. We found the Hollywood hottie’s look more appealing as it had more life. Alia’s look lacked spunk and was a little bit of drab, in terms of makeup. Check out both the looks below.

While Alia was able to ace one look (the Lavish Alice ensemble), we weren’t happy with her rendition of the Reem Acra outfit. We really wish she had styled her hair into one of those waterfall braids. We’re getting pretty tired of celebs opting for the sleek hairdo. It’s getting out of style. Also, we do wish there was enough makeup for hers looked pretty dull. The young diva is known for her experimental streaks. We have witnessed the same during the recent promotions of BKD, when Bhatt donned some of the best looks that suit all seasons.
